MOLD INSPECTION & TESTING In order to establish the extent of a mold infestation it is necessary to have an inspection performed by a Certified Mold Inspector. The inspector may also choose to use sampling/testing as part of the inspection process. This involves collecting specimens of suspected mold growth and forwarding the samples to a laboratory for analysis. IMPORTANT: Prior to any remediation the cause of the mold must be identified and corrected. Many mold inspectors do not have the necessary expertise to evaluate your building and determine the cause of the mold. EAGLE can offer this service to you as well!!! The inspector will then prepare a report based on the findings and lab results if applicable. The report will also include a remediation protocol which will detail what needs to be done to neutralize the mold infestation. An estimate for the remediaton will be based upon what is specified in the remediation protocol.

SHOULD I HAVE A MOLD INSPECTION? There are many areas in every home where mold growth can be hiding. A professional mold inspection can help you identify those areas where mold is actively growing in your home or building. The inspection will often reveal enough smaller areas of mold contamination that the cumulative affect is that of a large area. You will also be given advice on how to eliminate and control mold colonies. Because indoor mold is a direct cause of so many health problems, a mold inspection is a wise investment for everyone, not just those who are already suffering symptoms.         MOLD INSPECTION COST Our charge for a basic mold inspection and cause evaluation of your residential property is $250.00, this does not include testing, if needed.  We will credit the inspection fee towards any of our Mold Serivces that you may need as a result of the finding of our inspection. TESTING COSTS can vary depending on the type and turn around time requested.  They will be discussed with a client on an as needed basis. Please note that many companies will offer a "Free Inspection" in order to get a commisioned sales person in your door.  Our inspectors/estimators each have a minimum of 20 years of hands on experince with both mold issues and construction issues(generally the cause of mold problems).
